Create a connection

You can either use built-in scanners of Remotix to find a remote computer or create a connection manually.

Create a connection knowing target Computer ID

You can manually add a remote computer with Remotix Agent installed to the Stored list.

  1. Choose File > New Connection (on a Mac, you can also click Create New Connection button in the toolbar).

  3. In an opened window, fill in the required fields.
  4. Make sure that you have Use Remotix Cloud set to Yes.
  5. Specify the Computer ID of the remote computer and Port. If you leave the Port field blank, Remotix will use the default value (3389 for RDP, 5900 for VNC and 5850 for NEAR).
  6. Click Save.
