Create a connection

You can either use Remotix built-in scanners to find a remote computer or create a connection manually.

Create a connection manually

  1. Choose File > New Connection in the Remotix menu.
  2. Choose the desired type of the new connection: VNC, RDP or NEAR.
  3. In the appeared window, fill in the required fields. Name and Hostname fields are required, others are optional.
    For NEAR and over-Remotix-Cloud connections, the Hostname is replaced with Computer ID.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Now you should see the new connection in the All Computers list in Remotix.
