A big update of Remotix Cloud Hub is released today
Today we have launched the newest version of our service Remotix Cloud Hub, a centralized web-based solution to manage multiple computers remotely. The update sees improvements to browser console, users & sessions, mass installations, notifications, and more.
An important note that needs to be made is that Remotix Agent for Mac now requires macOS 10.9 or higher and Remotix Agent for Windows will now work only on Windows 7 or higher.
Users & Sessions
Remotix Agent now properly works for multiple users on the machine even if they don't have Agent GUI running. If the system is Windows then it is also true for multiple single user sessions.
We've added several bash and PowerShell templates for quickly launching administrative tasks. Needless to say, it makes remote control way easier.
You can set up Agent on a single machine, export its settings and then pass a parameter to Agent for Windows installer to automatically import specified settings. On macOS you can use the shell script to prepare an Agent installation package including those settings.
Action execution results are now displayed in notifications area in Remotix Hub. Now all the possible launch, logout, and other kinds of errors could be detected and dealt with immediately.
Remote Control via Remotix
If you have Remotix installed, you can launch a remote control session right from Remotix Hub.
