NuKit grown to 1.1

Sept. 8, 2010

We are delighted to introduce NuKit 1.1 to you.

First, we’ve worked out a Launcher for searching applications with some kind of acronyms: “qtp” for QuickTime Player, “oo” for Open Office, “vb” for VirtualBox, and so on. There’s another new launch panel feature — it finds entered words in the Dictionary.

Second, we’ve enriched shortcuts. Now it’s possible to assign a shortcut not only to applications, but also to URLs, system actions, opening files, running shell commands and AppleScripts. Just a few keys are pressed and NuKit turns the volume up or down, reboots a Mac or switches it off.

Third, Launcher is now even faster!

NuKit is now native in English, German, French, Spanish and Russian!

One more thing — we’ve made cool video about NuKit features. Hope you’ll like it :)
